Over the years, Gujarati Samaj of Greater Pittsburgh has provided us with numerous enjoyable activities. My family has been proud Samaj members since 2008 when we moved to BURGH. It has been a pleasure to serve the Samaj as a member of numerous previous executive committees in addition to taking part in numerous activities. I am honored and delighted to have the chance to carry on the baton of giving back to the Samaj this year as President of the Gujarati Samaj of Greater Pittsburgh. Being able to serve the community alongside a group of enthusiastic, committed, versatile members on the executive committee makes me happier than anything
Our annual objectives remain the same: to assist, uplift, and fortify the community while highlighting the rich Indian (particularly Gujarati) heritage and culture. The purpose of this committee is to carry on the spirit of happiness and unity that we have experienced at Gujarati Samaj activities.
This year, we want to continue to include more and more young people than ever before. As a part of this effort, we have some new young and dynamic committee members along with some experienced and diverse members. It is our collective responsibility to make sure that coming generations don't lose touch with their heritage and culture by actively engaging in Samaj activities in addition to attending them.
In summary, the 2024 committee and I are eager to reach new milestones and organize thrilling activities for our members of all ages. At every event, we look forward to seeing both new and returning members. I urge you to help us out by attending as many events as you can. We are eagerly organizing activities to make this year even more special for the Gujarati Samaj of Greater Pittsburgh.
